I was laying on a beach in Goa, India.
You may think I was relaxing… But the reality was that I was stressed as hell!
I was there to train BJJ on these mats at the American Kickboxing Academy in Goa.
But the brutal workouts were not what was stressing me out. It was the email inbox back in my hotel room.
I knew it was going to be full of 100’s of influencers who wanted to promote my client’s brands. My laptop was a mess with multiple spreadsheets, clunky CRM’s in Notion, link generation, tracking software, products pending to be shipped 😓
I dreaded walking back to my room and looking at all that!
Looking back, it was a good problem to have.
Most brands hardly get 10 influencers to promote them… EVER. Our brands were getting 100’s every month!
The situation was clear: My methods were working better than everyone else’s. But my management of the whole thing was unable to keep up.
Every software tool I had spoken to was too complex and too expensive. $20,000 for software, paid upfront annually, to manage influencers?

The problem was hard. But I was here for it.

My marketing agency was about to get fired…
We were working with a handful of clients, handling all of their marketing for them.
Everything was amazing until iOS 14.5 happened and Facebook ads crashed.
It messed up our brand’s top of funnel. They were spending too much to acquire customers, and making a loss!
Obviously, as their marketing ninja, it was my job to figure this out.… or I could get fired and my brands could continue making losses.
It was at this point when it came to me...

This was right around lockdown and people were living more online than ever before. Which means the trust was with influencers who were creating content on full-throttle!
Not with celebrities. Not with ads. Not with institutions.
The trust was with authentic influencers on social media.
Long story short… we tried influencer marketing and it worked like a charm.
We were able to reduce acquisition costs by 500% and got higher quality customers who kept buying again. Our brands were no longer reliant on BigTech ad platforms for growth.
and I saved my ass from being fired!
Since then, we scaled influencer programs from 0 to 300+ influencers and generated $100s of thousands of dollars in net new revenue for clients.
So that’s me. I’m Yash Chavan, a marketer at heart who loves solving problems for brands like yours.

Yes, I have a passion for building tech products and the fact that influencer marketing is taking off helps us.
But my core motivation was always: How do I help brands (you!) make the most amount of money with influencers?
So what did I do when I felt the pain and decided to do something about it?
I spoke to 40+ DTC founders, agency owners, and influencer marketing managers about their situation and how I could build software that truly helps them.
